Why A Dietitian
Registered Dietitians are the experts in nutrition. The Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential indicates that a practitioner has completed a bachelor's degree in nutrition, 1,200 hours of supervised nutrition practice, has passed a standardized national examination, and completes 75+ hours of continuing education every five years. Registered Dietitians are the only nutrition professionals authorized to prescribed Medical Nutrition Therapy in the United States.
